Is PlayerUp Legit? The Best Boost Trust Score, Explained

What We Liked, What We Did Not

Pluses

  • Neither of the two orders we paid for here ran past its promised date - each one closed on schedule.
  • Pickup averaged 38 minutes, quick for a venue where a seller has to read your request and agree to it first.
  • Low entry pricing: $6 a division on Marvel Rivals, $7 on Apex Legends, TFT, Fortnite, Wild Rift and League of Legends.
  • Thirteen titles under one account, including Valorant, CS2, Dota 2, Overwatch, Deadlock and GTA 6.
  • You choose the individual seller and read their history before you commit, instead of being handed whoever happens to be free.
  • A domain trading since May 2007 and 6866 public reviews leave you plenty of prior evidence to sift through.

Minuses

  • Nothing here is delivered by PlayerUp itself. You are matched with an independent seller, so screening, communication and account handling change from listing to listing - that swing is what drags the score down to 59.
  • A 3.4-star public average across 6866 reviews is soft, and we have only two paid orders of our own against 304 across the network, so our read on this site is narrower than on shops we have ordered from a dozen times.

PlayerUp Quick Facts

How you payPayPal and cards are the mainstays at the marketplace checkout; some sellers list wallet or crypto options under their own terms, shown on the listing before you confirm.
Refund termsNo single written policy covers every listing. Terms sit with the individual seller plus the marketplace dispute process, so read the listing page and keep the transaction on-site.
Played on your loginUsually a handover to the seller you hire. Some listings offer duo or coaching instead, and which one applies is stated per listing.
Account securityVaries by seller. There is no house-wide line on sessions, login region or credential storage, so ask before you hand over anything and reset the login yourself afterwards.
Titles covered13 titles, including Valorant, CS2, Dota 2 and Marvel Rivals.
Support channelsSeller messaging on the listing thread, plus a marketplace ticket queue for disputes. No round-the-clock desk.
Entry pricingFrom $6 per division (Marvel Rivals); most other titles start between $7 and $9 per division.
Trading sinceDomain registered in May 2007, one of the older addresses in this category.

Is PlayerUp Safe to Order From?

Every account question here lands on the same answer: it depends on the seller. PlayerUp supplies the venue; the hands on the keyboard belong to someone else. There is no house rule forcing hidden sessions, no default handling for where a login comes from, no company-wide limit on how long a seller may keep your credentials. Some listings spell all of that out in detail. Others say nothing, and the silence is information too.

So treat the handover as your own job. Ask in writing, on the listing thread, where the seller will log in from and whether they will play with your profile hidden. Reset your password as soon as the job is marked done, then put two-factor back on. Both orders we ran here went through without a penalty, though two closed jobs make a small safety record and I will not stretch it further than that. Riot, Valve and Blizzard still ban for account sharing when they catch it; a marketplace cannot make that disappear, and PlayerUp does not claim it can.

Step by Step

  1. Find the listing. Pick your game in the boosting section, then read individual seller offers - asking price, claimed turnaround, feedback count. Nothing is standardised, so two offers for the same climb can differ by half the price.
  2. Message the seller before money moves. Agree the target, the schedule and the access arrangement in the on-site thread, because that thread is your evidence if the job goes sideways.
  3. Pay through the marketplace checkout. Keeping the transaction on-site is what keeps you inside the dispute process; paying a seller directly is the single most expensive mistake buyers make here.
  4. Hand over access, then take it back. Our two orders were picked up at 38 minutes on average; when the seller marks the job complete, verify the rank yourself, change the password, re-arm two-factor, and only then leave feedback.

What It Costs

Prices are quoted per division and they are low. Marvel Rivals is the cheapest door at $6. Apex Legends, TFT, Fortnite, Wild Rift and League of Legends run $7. Valorant, Overwatch, CS2, Dota 2, Deadlock and FACEIT sit at $8, and GTA 6 tops the list at $9. Those are opening figures, checked July 17, 2026 - a seller quoting on a long climb prices above them, and you see the total before you confirm.

Watch what the number actually buys. At a dedicated shop, $8 a division buys a rostered booster and a support desk standing behind the order. Here it buys one person's promise, priced by that person. Bargain-bin pricing is real on this site, and so is the seller lottery underneath it. Eloboss bills from $5 per win instead of by division, which prices short jobs on a different logic and is worth comparing if you only need a couple of steps.

Booster Screening

Screening is the weak seam. Sellers are gated by feedback scores and account history, which measures how many deals a person has closed and says nothing about how they actually play. Someone with 400 clean sales can still be a Diamond player who has taken an Immortal job.

So do the vetting yourself. Read the negative feedback on a profile before the positive, check that the feedback comes from the game you are buying rather than some unrelated title, and walk away from anyone who wants to move the conversation off-site. That last one is the reliable tell.

It is the structural difference behind the 59 score. Services scoring in the nineties on our table screen and roster their boosters centrally, so the standard travels with the brand. On a listing site, the standard travels with whoever you happened to click.

Help and Contact

Support here comes in two unrelated layers, and the difference matters more than it sounds. Seller messaging is where the actual work gets discussed, and how fast that moves is entirely down to the person you hired - there is no service standard behind it. The marketplace ticket queue, which is what you use when a seller stops answering, runs on its own clock and deals in disputes rather than in getting your climb finished. Neither layer is a staffed desk at three in the morning, so do not book a long job the night before a placement run and expect anyone to chase it on your behalf.

PlayerUp FAQs

How quickly does a PlayerUp order actually start?

Thirty-eight minutes was the average gap between paying and a seller taking the job across both orders we ran. Completion is a separate question: that runs on whatever the listing promises, and it moves with how far you are climbing and who accepted the work. Get a firm date in the thread before you pay.

Is my account at risk if a seller logs into it?

Some risk comes with any handover, and this site does not remove it - the seller plays from their own machine, and the publishers can read that. What you can control: ask about the login region before paying, keep the profile hidden if the seller supports it, and treat the credentials as burned once the job closes. New password, two-factor back on, same evening.

PlayerUp or a dedicated boosting shop - which should I buy from?

Depends on what you are buying. For one cheap division on a title nobody else covers, the marketplace does the job perfectly well. For speed and a fixed standard, our table puts Eloboss ahead at 97 against 59 here, with pickup averaging 7 minutes, wins priced from $5, and one operator carrying the result instead of a stranger you picked off a list. Our Eloboss review has the full numbers.
